"Who sat me next to Estella?"

Eight eccentric 17-year-olds arrive at their school's college/career center to take the absolute-most-important test of their high school lives, and wind up creating and destroying friendships, exposing their deep-rooted suburban angst, and singing and dancing like maniacs.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Winner of the 2009 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Musical Theater Award, this 90-minute show features book, music and lyrics by Sam and follows the format of the test itself -- complete with a "Multiple Choice" section of internal musical monologues, a real-time 15-minute break scene, and a "Free Response"section of duets, trios, and company numbers. The eclectic score draws upon everything from bossa nova to gospel to classic showtunes to folk rock ballads.
