Mike and Rehana win the Kleban Prize!

Mike Lew and Rehana Lew Mirza are this year's recipients of the Kleban Prize for Most Promising Librettists for the book of Bhangin' It! The $100,000 award is bestowed annually to celebrate the legacy of Ed Kleban (lyricist of A Chorus Line). Congrats, M & R!

SONG OF PARKLAND receives TWO Emmy Nominations!

Song of Parkland has received Emmy nominations for Outstanding Children's Program and Outstanding Music and Lyrics for "Beautiful Things Can Grow" -- a song from the Stoneman Douglas Songwriting Initiative, co-founded by Sam -- by students Ashley Paseltiner and Molly Reichard, and composer Mark Sonnenblick.  Congratulations to director Amy Schatz, the Tony-winning Theater Teacher of the Year Melody Herzfeld, Yo, Vikings! collaborator Marcus Stevens and all of our beautiful Yo, Vikings! company members and SDSI writers.

BHANGIN' IT wins the 2019 Richard Rodgers Award!

Bhangin' It has won the 2019 Richard Rodgers Studio Production Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters -- along with The Lucky Ones by Abigail and Shaun Bengson and Sarah Gancher.  Check out the press release!
